What You'll Learn
How many days is the workshop?
The workshop is 5 full days, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
What will I learn during the workshop?
You’ll gain confidence and hands-on experience with AutoPilot Mach 3, including:
- Basic use & Edge-to-Edge design
- Borders, appliqué, and advanced tool usage
- Maintenance, tension, and troubleshooting
- Intro to Grand Format Embroidery with Path Apply
Do I need to bring any supplies?
Nope! We provide everything—tools, fabric, and thread. You’ll complete 3 project-based exercises designed to build real-world skills.
Is this class only for brand-new users?
Not at all. Whether your machine just arrived or you’ve been quilting for a while, you’ll gain new insights, best practices, and tools you didn’t even know existed.
I have a Classic INNOVA. Will I benefit?
Yes! While the workshop is on an INNOVA M20 with AutoPilot Mach 3, most concepts and skills you learn also apply to Classic INNOVA models. The hands-on skills you will learn translate beautifully.
I don't own an INNOVA yet, can I still attend?
Absolutely! Many attendees join us before purchasing to experience the power and ease of quilting with AutoPilot Mach 3 firsthand. You'll also get to work on the INNOVA M Series longarm, giving you a true feel for what makes INNOVA different.
Comfort & Accommodations
Will I be working on my own machine?
Yes! Each student has their own dedicated INNOVA longarm—no sharing.
Will I be standing for long periods of time?
We alternate between seated classroom learning and longarm practice. Rolling chairs are provided—you can sit while working at your longarm if preferred.
Is lunch provided?
Yes! We provide lunch and snacks every day. You’ll select your lunch choices before you arrive for the workshop.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We’re happy to accommodate whenever possible. You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch. A fridge and microwave are available.

INNOVA Longarm University takes place at our headquarters:

Who teaches the class?
All workshops are led by INNOVA-certified educators and service technicians who bring real-world experience and expert guidance.
Can I buy parts or supplies during the event?
Absolutely! You’ll have the opportunity to shop and skip shipping. Plus, you’ll receive an exclusive attendee discount on parts and accessories.
Is hotel included in the cost?
Hotel is not included, but after registration, we’ll send you a discounted hotel rate and travel recommendations.

What is Grand Format Embroidery and will I see it?
Yes! You’ll see Path Apply in action and use it to add appliqué during your project work. Grand Format Embroidery turns your INNOVA longarm with AutoPilot into a hoopless embroidery powerhouse!
My machine hasn’t been installed yet. Should I still attend?
Yes! This class is ideal before your machine is even set up. You’ll return home ready to hit the ground quilting with your INNOVA longarm.
